On 22.09.2025, Commissionerate Police arrested four persons in connection with Badagada PS missing-person report MMR No. 51/2025 dated 19 September. The victim, Bidyadhara Sahoo, was kidnapped for ransom and his body was recovered near the Baranga–Pitapalli roadside by Jujhagada village. Accordingly, Badagada PS Case No. 542/2025 dtd 19.09.2025 was registered.

On 22.09.2025, Commissionerate Police arrested four persons in connection with Badagada PS missing-person report MMR No. 51/2025 dated 19 September. During the course of the investigation, a range of incriminating items, 26 counterfeit rubber stamps, One four-wheeler, Original certificates belonging to job aspirants and five mobile phones were seized from the accused persons.
