This payout marks a pioneering initiative, made possible by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Commissionerate Police and Bank of Baroda on August 27, 2024. The comprehensive compensation includes Rs. 1 crore for accidental death during duty and an additional Rs. 10 lakh as life insurance.
