It is my proud privilege to lead the Police Commissionerate of Bhubaneswar and Kataka. As our
historic twin cities rapidly transform into a bustling, fast-paced metropolitan region, our role has
evolved too. Guided by the vision of the Government of Odisha, we are constantly striving to
transform the Commissionerate Police into a proactive, modern, empathetic and people friendly
police.
While our core challenges remain firmly centered on maintaining public order, preventing
and detecting crime, optimizing traffic management, and ensuring robust security, our mission goes
much deeper. We are committed.to protect the rights and dignity of all sections of society, with
special emphasis on ensuring the safety of women, children, senior citizens, and other vulnerable
sections of society.
