Keeping the citizens hydrated! On 02.05.2024 Commissionerate of Police joined hands with IRCS, Bhubaneswar, to set up ‘Jal Chhatra’, providing much-needed relief to citizens braving the scorching heat with buttermilk, ORS and water. Commissioner of Police, Sri Sanjeeb Panda, IPS and DCP BBSR, Sri Prateek Singh, IPS distributed Buttermilk to the citizens.
On 02.05.2024 In collaboration with the Commissionerate Police, the Yi-Young Indians took the initiative to do outreach Cyber Safety Awareness in Schools, Colleges, Corporates and other Organisations to prevent Cyber Frauds. Also requested Citizens to use the CHAKSHU Portal in https://sancharsaathi.gov.in/ to report suspicious fraud numbers (called on WhatsApp mostly) that are being used by Cyber Fraudsters.

On 05.04.2024 Info Valley PS of Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar UPD uncovered a robbery masterminded by Somanath Jena, Dipti Ranjan Baliarsingh, Asish Kumar Das, and Smrutiranjan Sethi. Seized items comprise 3 motorcycles pivotal to the crime, a scooter, 3 mobile phones, and a significant cash haul totaling Rs. 9,69,000/-. The recovered money was returned instantly to the complainant.
